Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

Just got back...and I have to say it was good, but not nearly as dark as I thought it would be. In the old one you never hear anything about the kids after they vanish. Which made it creepier. The visuals were all very Burton esc though.

Some fun tidbits about the movie:
1. All the oompa loompas are played by one guy (Mr. Soggybottom, from Big Fish)
2. Rolad Dahl wrote the lyrics fot the songs according.
3. Screenwritter John August is a Drake grad.
4. Screenwritter John August also adapted the screen play for Big Fish.


I liked it. Pretty different from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, and some added stuff fromt he book. 'eets pretty good. I give it thumbs up, holmes.
